Houston, TX – Music World Gospel/Interface Entertainment recording artist Micah Stampley launched his 2011 promo tour with a ministry weekend in Los Angeles sharing in worship at Angelus Temple, visiting the Dream Center and appearing at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, Calif. These are the first of many appearances to come in 2011 as Micah gears up to release his new album in early Spring.
The Dream Center proved to be a life-changing experience for Micah as he witnessed firsthand a model for his own humanitarian ministries. “The work that Pastor Barnett and the team are doing is a true example of being God’s hands on the Earth and being the true church of Jesus Christ,” said Micah.
Micah performed his single, “Heaven On Earth,” for the members at Angelus Temple, which was the perfect song to sum up the inspiring experience. The emotion throughout the service moved many to tears, including a man from skid row who came to Angelus Temple just to hear Micah perform.
Visiting Crystal Cathedral, Micah performed “The Corinthian Song” accompanied by a three-piece string quartet on the Hour of Power service broadcast, and for both services at the church. Again, Micah moved the congregation to tears and received a standing ovation for the powerful performance.
Hour of Power is internationally televised weekly from Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove, Calif. They have a local congregation of over 10,000 members, and Hour of Power reaches millions worldwide. Micah’s performance on Hour of Power airs January 30, 2011 at 7 a.m. CST on Lifetime cable. Check your local listings for more details on programming.
The Dream Center is a non-profit outreach helping inner-cities by providing food, clothing, shelter, life rehabilitation, education, job training, and Biblical training through their various ministries.
