Serious Pimp Records Releases Sons of NWA’s Straight Outta Compton EDM Remix

Los Angeles, CA – Independent record label, artist management and tour promotion company, Serious Pimp Records has released Sons of NWA’s “Straight Outta Compton” EDM Remix, it was announced today by Damian Kutzner, President/CEO of Serious Pimp Records.

Sons of NWA, featuring, worked with several Death Row Records affiliates, including Daz Dillinger and Kurupt, along with producer Battlecat, to produce the cut, which is available here: https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/straight-outta-compton-single/id1032509394.

Recorded in Snoop Dogg’s world-famous “Doggystyle Studio” in Orange County, the “Straight Outta Compton” EDM Remix continues Serious Pimp Records leadership of the Gangster House Music (G-House) movement with a West Coast California feel.

“It feels like a big hug when I walk in here,” says Young. “Like [Snoop’s] always watching me.”

“Sons of NWA’s new remix is a fantastic cut and demonstrates Serious Pimp Records’ dedication to bringing the best new music, events and releases from leading West Coast Gangsta Rap, EDM and G House artists to a worldwide audience,” said Kutzner.

Sons of NWA’s “Straight Outta Compton” EDM Remix was recorded for release as a single and is planned to be featured in “Westside Gangsta House,” the upcoming album planned for release later this year by Serious Pimp Records.

“I respect the fact that Damian respected the lineage of my father and Curtis’ father when he came to us with this,” Wright says (Lil Eazy E). “It’s about keeping people aware of where the legacy of this music started and, as his son, to keep his music going with this NEW Genre of Music called Gangster House (G HOUSE).”

G House music, also known as “Gangsta’ House,” fuses elements of house and rap music and is growing in worldwide popularity for its unique perspective, entertaining originality and use of different styles of music to entertain. G House is highly danceable music popular in club settings often featuring grooving synthesizer patterns and sophisticated rap samples mixed with psychedelically influenced flurries of percussive elements that combine the emotive vibes of deep house music, engaging rap lyrics and powerful basslines.

“Serious Pimp Records is the cutting edge of the G House movement. Our roots are the Original OG’s of Gangster Music, the great artists who started Gangster Rap like NWA, Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, DPG, Warren G, Too Short, E40 — all of them from our backyard here in California,” said Kutzner. “Our music is unique because it has the style and feel of the Original West Coast Gangster artists channeled through the creativity of today’s top hip-hop artists.”
