"Flip The Script" a new film starring Miguel A. Nunex, Robin Givens, and Obba Babatunde
New York, NY, May 31, 2005 – After a successful series of events in 2004, BMW of North America, LLC and Blackfilm.com have renewed their partnership to present the second year of the BMW Blackfilm.com Film Screening Series. Beginning this June, the BMW Blackfilm.com Film Screening Series will once again visit Atlanta, Washington, D.C. and Los Angeles providing these markets with engaging and quality urban film selections that often do not get the opportunity to be showcased through such a visible program.
The first round of screenings will showcase "FLIP THE SCRIPT," a romantic comedy starring Miguel A. Nunez Jr. ("Juwanna Mann", "Scooby Doo"), Robin Givens ("Head of State," "Boomerang"), Randy Goodwin ("Girlfriends"), Mel Jackson ("Deliver Us From Eva"), Bianca Lawson ("Breaking All The Rules"), Jazsmin Lewis ("Barbershop 2"), Teck Holmes ("First Daughter") and Obba Babatunde ("After the Sunset," "The Notebook," "One Life To Live").
About the Screening Series - Dates, Cities, and Venues:
The June Screening Series will feature discussion panels with the writers, directors, and select cast members. A pre-screening reception will be held at each event that will target industry insiders, opinion-leaders and entertainment and media VIPs.
Each event is also billed as a fund-raiser for the local chapters of the National Black MBA Association. All raised funds will be directed to the local chapter's general scholarship fund adding to the social and educational good that these chapters execute in their communities. The requested donation is $20.

Film Synopsis:
FLIP THE SCRIPT, tells the charming story of six college friends in their thirties brought back to Los Angeles for the untimely death of a mutual friend. Forced with having to plan a funeral together, the friends use the occasion to reacquaint themselves with each other which results in the re-surfacing of old feelings and unfinished business. The film explores the heartbreaks and joys of life through friendship and love.
Written by first time filmmaker Tiayoka McMillan, FLIP THE SCRIPT is directed by newcomer Terrah Bennett Smith with acclaimed cinematographer Reynaldo Villalobos ("Juwanna Mann," "American Family") as the director of photography. The goal of the series is to support and showcase up and coming film talent while building awareness and support for worthy causes. These screenings feature discussion panels and pre-screening receptions targeting industry insiders, opinion-leaders and entertainment and media VIPs. Approximately 200-400 people are expected at each event in each city.
