"Music business conference raises funds for youth music camp"

Philadelphia, PA, June 21, 2005 - The Good L.U.C.K. (Learning Using Correct Knowledge) Foundation is hosting its Second Annual Music Business Conference (MBC). The event will be held in Uncasville, Connecticut at the Mohegan Sun Casino and Resort, June 29 – July 1, 2005. The Conference will help raise funds for the summer Youth Music Business Academy for students around the country to attend for FREE of charge.
The Second Annual Music Business Conference will bring together individuals who are the Music Industry's top technological innovators, artists, deejays, producers, radio programmers, retailers, music labels, entertainment lawyers and much more. The conference will feature over 25 exhibits and 50 panel discussions taking place over the three days. Some of the featured panelists are Special Invited Panelist and Guests: Kurtis Blow (Founder of Hip-Hop), Lenny S of Def Jam Records, Burt Bazin VP of Def Jam Records, Rudy Rush of Doug Banks Show, Rah Digga of FlipMode, DJ Lazy K & Murda Mami Crew, Ed Johnson of Inside Connection Magazine, Gabriel Aviles, Director of Christian Music Trade Association, Kenny Ferracho of ASCAP, Chuck Wilson of BabyGrande Records/Koch, Paolo Montagni from Germany, CEO of P-Force Entertainment, Monica Davis Host of EEPTV, and Jaison Ray of IDM ( I Define Me) Wear and more. On Wednesday, June 29, 2005 is Youth Day for high schools students at the conference. It will also be featured the a special day for local high school students to meet and greet music and entertainment experts, attend music industry information panels, college information forum, Sun WNBA players autograph signing followed by a special concert by surprise Def Jam artists. The foundation will also present a scholarship awards to high school graduates with funds to pay for books and supplies while in college. The conference will focus on various aspects of the music industry including business production, artists, media, marketing and technology. Some featured exhibits will include a college, career and health forums, signed and unsigned artist showcase and DJ Competitions.
The Good L.U.C.K. Foundation is a non-profit organization whose aim is to provide educational resources to today's youth. The foundation addresses two major problems young adults are having; finding financial resources to help them in maintaining education beyond high schools and providing knowledge and skills to young adults in order for them to become future entrepreneur and leaders of tomorrow.
