OCF/BAI has announced the September 14th release of “The Hunt,” the highly anticipated debut album from Young De Barge of the renowned De Barge family. The tracks on his debut have a unique fusion of hip-hop beats, sensuous melodies and timeless lyrics.

Darrell “Young” De Barge has preserved the legendary grown and sexy sound you are used to receiving from the De Barge family with tracks such as his debut single “Sometimes Things Change” and created a growing buzz in the R&B and hip-hop community with “The Hunt” which he performs with his brother Chico De Barge. Both of these tracks have already received coast to coast air play and underground credibility as independently released singles. Other songs featured on this album are "Loving You," "Legendary Lover," "Sentimental Values," and a much awaited duet with his brother El De Barge.

Young De Barge is the youngest of the legendary De Barge family and promises to take the De Barge name into the next millennium. He has worked on several De Barge hits such as "Broken Dreams," "Turn the Page," "Somebody Loves You," "Real Love," "Good Times," "After the Dance" and many others. He is part of the production team at OCF Records, which he co-owns with Mr. Al-Yeru Clarke J.D. and Mr. Byron McCray, J.D, MBA. Young has perfected his craft as a songwriter, performer, producer, and lyricist. His voice is versatile and his arrangements are nothing short of infectious and this album displays this.
