Memphis, TN - Nikki Woods, Chicago morning show personality and freshman novelist, talks to blogger, Makasha Dorsey, about her upcoming book, “Easier Said Than Done”, and gives advice to those needing to utilize free media to promote their projects.

When asked about her most difficult challenges in life, like a true professional her response lead in to her upcoming novel. “That's a difficult question. Like Kingston - my protagonist in Easier Said Than Done - I have had difficult situations in my life. A few that I thought would knock me completely out of the game. Luckily I have a strong support system with family and friends. I think the hardest thing for me to "get" is that life is a process. You won't always get it the first time and the lessons won't always be easy. Also, I am a perfectionist by nature and hate to fail at anything so it's sometimes a struggle for me to accept that things may not always happen how[,] or when[,] I want them to. I am still learning how to let God be in control and direct my path.”
