There is at least one thing that African-Americans do better than any other ethnic group. Too many African-Americans hate Black people!

If you are Black, you’re hated when you’re successful. You’re hated when you accomplish your goals. You’re hated when you get a new man. You’re hated when you get a new woman. You’re hated when you get a new job.

When Blacks get married or enter into a new relationship, instead of congratulating the couple African-Americans will be first to say the relationship won’t last. When Blacks exercise, watch their diets and lose weight, African-Americans will say you "must be on crack or some other drug or you must have AIDs."

When Blacks become victims of false arrest or police misconduct, African-Americans will say, "I knew he was guilty".

What is the cause of all of this hater-ation? Well, we all know who taught our ancestors to hate themselves but will we criticize each other forever?

Nobody wants to be Black. Everybody wants to look Black but no one wants to be Black. The poor white woman in the trailer park wants to have Oprah Winfrey’s money but she does not want to be Oprah. White golfers want Tiger Wood’s golf talent but they do not want to be Tiger Woods. White kids want to sell rap recordings like 50 Cent but young white kids do not want to be 50 Cent.

In my hood, so to speak, there is too much negativity. It hovers over the community like smog hangs around Los Angeles.

Instead of trying to be positive and supportive of each other, many African-Americans pray for their neighbor’s failure.

No other ethnic group hates each other like African-Americans. Jews love each other in a racial sense even if they hate each other's politics. Cubans love each other as Cubans even if they dislike other Hispanics.

This dislike of self and of our community is a big obstacle to Black progress. Sometimes it seems African-Americans love everyone more than they love themselves.

African-Americans want to live in neighborhoods where they are not welcome. They want to shop where they are not desired customers. They even want to worship in churches where they can never participate in the worship services.

I’m not suggesting that you love people that you don’t love in a personal sense but, in a general sense, we should all love our neighbors.

African-American jealousy, envy and hatred of Black people must stop now if we will survive in America.

I know I’m hated because the people that seek to tell the truth are hated the most. But that’s OK, at least I’m respected and how many people who love to hate can say that?
