Atlanta, GA.- Atlanta based production company Film Captive Productions, Inc. will have some of it's work showcased on the new weekly "Tom Joyner Show", which premiers on the ABC network on Sunday October 2, 2005. Tom Joyner has become the #1 syndicated morning radio host with over 8 million listeners. Recognizing this achievement, the ABC networks decided to take America's "Fly Jock" and parlay that success to television. The show will include his morning show cohorts of J. Anthony Brown, Sybil, Ms. Dupree and Myra J. The show will feature a variety of musical guests and comedic sketches, some of which were provided by Film Captive. Comedy skits that star comedian J. Anthony Brown, Myra J. and other Atlanta talent will be featured. The skits, directed by Sylvia Jackson, producer and director at Film Captive Productions, poke fun at the well know MasterCard Priceless campaign, the Onstar Phone Service for cars and a humorous take on women fighting during beer commercials. In later episodes, the weekly show will also feature more skits produced by Film Captive. This marks the company's second premier on national television. Previously, works produced by the company and directed by Ms. Jackson have appeared on the TV One Network.
