(Los Angeles) Last night at the filming of the BET 25 Anniversary celebration, Ms. LisaRaye McCoy was looking stunning as she walked the red carpet. Then it dawned on me...left hand, ring finger, Bling Bling!

She later confirmed her engagement to The Honorable Michael Misick Chief Minister of the Turks and Caicos Islands (while being hassled by Tyrese (actor/rapper/model), Lee Bailey (EUR.com), Davey D daveyd.com) and Gary Jackson (Hollywood Reporter). It was just this past summer, at the BET Awards show, where LisaRaye had made the public statement that; "no brother had focused in on me"... What)... and the Black press, was not about to let her off easy.

According to LisaRaye's website (www.lisaraye.com) On the evening of July 28th, in the garden of his palatial home, The Chief Minister (equivalent to the President) got down on one knee in front of both of their families and friends including LisaRaye's mother, Ms. Katie McCoy and proposed. Although the tropical temperatures soared above 80 degrees, LisaRaye remained cool and elegant. Beaming with pride and joy, a teary eye LisaRaye accepted the Chief Minister's proposal. Chief Minister Misick stated, "I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with LisaRaye".

The gorgeous couple met at TBS Trumpet Awards in Atlanta, Georgia. Initially they corresponded by e-mail several times a day. The first date took place in Jamaica when LisaRaye had to fly to Jamaica to host an annual festival weekend. Chief Minister Misick being determined to court LisaRaye flew to Jamaica from Turks and Caicos Islands to take LisaRaye and her friends out for dinner. Chief Minister Misick and Ms. LisaRaye McCoy will exchange their wedding wows on the 28th of December 2005 in the Turks and Caicos Islands.

Ms. LisaRaye McCoy is an acclaimed actress and businesswoman. She has become the face for urban entertainment and has captured the hearts of many through her work in Hollywood. She got her big break as the star in Ice Cube Players Club, performing along side notables such as Jamie Foxx, Bernie Mack, and Michael Clarke Duncan. She has performed major roles in movies such as The Wood, Guns and Roses, and Beauty Shop. She is currently the star of UPN's third season television show, produced by Will and Jade Pinkett Smith, "All of Us".

Considered one of the finest women in America (Black or white) and voted the sexiest by the readers of Black Men Magazine in 2001, LisaRaye admitted this marriage would change her style and image. As the First Lady of the Turks and Caicos Islands, she would begin doing more charity work, and sorry fellas...put her promised lingerie line, "Luxe & Romance" on hold. Expect to see the future Mrs. Misick, rubbing shoulders with British royalty and American political leaders as she takes her place on the world stage as an advocate for women and children's rights all over the world....You Go Girl!
