As part of the RebuildHopeNow Campaign, Actress Sheryl Lee Ralph and National Urban League President and former New Orleans Mayor Marc Morial have voiced public services announcements urging displaced Katrina victims to vote in the April 22 elections.
With one of the most critical city elections in history in mind, The "Louisiana Unity '06 Rebuild Hope Now Coalition" campaign is a collaborative effort designed by the NCBCP to raise awareness among displaced New Orleanians regarding the unique methods of voting (i.e. absentee ballots and early voting periods) regardless of their current location.
