Los Angeles - FreshFaces2u.com is the newest phenomenon on the web; an online community empowerment platform that is destined to make a difference. Founded on the principles of networking and social consciousness, Fresh Faces2u will award a $10,000 dollar cash scholarship/grant on April 16th 2007, and local non-profit and grass roots organizations want it.
Community organizations such as Recycling Black Dollars (www.rbdmedia.net), Life After Prison (www.lapsinc.org) and others, or taking advantage of this opportunity to raise needed money for their causes. They are sponsoring models and encouraging their members and supporters to go online to www.FreshFaces2u.com and vote for them.
Each vote costs a dollar (plus transaction fee's). The revenue generated from the voting process will be utilized to fund a new type of online charity that will reinvest the funds back into the community in the form of scholarships and grants. This concept of online community empowerment and self reliance will create a new philanthropic and venture capital fund that non-profits, community groups, business, Rich Media developers, and individual entrepreneurs, will be able to tap into on an ongoing basis.
Always the innovator, Recycling Black Dollars (RBD) is taking advantage of the World Wide Web to raise money for their ongoing work in the Black community. (RBD) a Los Angeles based non-profit organization, was developed to motivate and encourage Black professionals, business persons and consumers alike, to invest in the future of the Black business community, through patronage and support.
RDB and Fresh Faces2u.com have similar goals and objectives; to make a difference in our community through volunteerism, community service, mentorship, creative expression and higher education. RDB is asking the public to help achieve these worthwhile community goals by stepping up to the plate and voting for Ms RDB, Jamie Franklin at http://freshfaces2u.com/viewprofile.php?pid=1080.
There is no cost to register as a sponsor or participate in the Fresh Faces2u.com scholarship/grant fund. It is totally FREE and open to all females over the age of 18, regardless of nationality, marital status, age, religion, race, or prior modeling experience. Contestants would vie for a $10,000 cash scholarship and trip/tour to the college of their choice. The second place winner will receive an exclusive photo shoot for "Antwain Pierre" an upscale Hip-Hop clothing line.
Models/actresses may begin registering immediately by submitting five (5) pictures: Main, Glamour, Scenic, Beauty, and Close Up shots at http://www.freshfaces2u.com. They will also need to submit a short bio (100 words) expressing why someone should vote for them. These pictures and bio/stats will be displayed online in our "Fresh Faces2u" searchable database and marketed direct to entertainment industry professionals.
This new philanthropic online concept was born out of our reception in, and popularity on, MySpace (see http://www.myspace.com/freshfaces2u). The original purpose of our "Fresh Faces2u" initiative was to expose and promote artisans/entertainers and Rich Media entrepreneurs to industry professionals who can use their services...The response has been phenomenal! The MySpace site now has 10,000 of the prettiest faces on the planet.
RBD, and LAPSinc, are asking the public to tell their network of online friends and associates about Fresh Faces2u.com and spend a dollar (plus transaction fee's) for a good cause. In this new age of digital Rich Media (film, video, photography,) we must strive to reinvent the image of, and opportunity for, women in media. Remember, one person can make a difference in our society…One dollar can make a difference in the entertainment industry.
