Featured on Oprah and ESPN, the Clemson defensive back/wide receiver adopted his 11-year-old brother his freshmen year in college to prevent him from going into foster care while his mother struggled to overcome drug addiction. Although it remains a financial challenge, McElrathbey - once a foster child himself - is elated to assume the father role for his brother.
