The Gantt Report - Los Angeles police Officers Wynn, Koon and others did not brutally beat Rodney King in the early 1990s. New Orleans Police Officers also didn’t brutally beat a Black man in New Orleans after hurricane Katrina.

Videos were taken of police misconduct and the officers still said they were innocent and white judges and juries acquitted them.

But you don’t need a video to indict a Black man. Vick accusers only had the lies of career criminals, snitches and informants to cause Vick to lose his freedom, his money and his career.

However, when crack heads, drug dealers and snitching criminals accuse white law enforcers of misconduct no one, especially media reporters, believes them.

You tell me, are snitches truthful when they accuse white police officers of violating their civil rights? If they lie about correctional officers, how in the hell can they be believed when they lie about the highest paid Black man in professional football?

By the time you read this column. Michael Vick would have pled guilty to dog fighting charges in Virginia and perhaps the ruling judge would have sentenced Vick to at least a year in jail.

Yes, Michael Vick pleaded guilty to animal cruelty, so to speak. But guess where Atlanta Falcon Team owner Arthur Blank was when the Vick case broke! Blank was in Africa killing animals on an African safari. Now what is less humane than white folks traveling to Africa to murder elephants and other animals in the African wild? Pit bulls will fight each other with no provocation but no elephant has ever done anything to deserve to be murdered by Arthur Blank. The whole Vick, Blank, NFL saga has been about hypocrisy. Over 50% of Atlanta Falcon season ticket holders are Black. Brothers and sisters, you know what to do to teams that don’t support you.

Prior to making a plea, Vick apologized to everyone hurt or affected by criminal charges against him. He also took full responsibility for all that occurred.

At least, Michael Vick didn’t snitch! Michael Vick is a first offender and may have gotten considerations if he sang like Luther Vandross about crimes of others but he refused to name any other alleged wrongdoers.

Don’t take my word for it, do the research that the Humane Society and ESPN refuses to do, but Michael Vick was not the first NFL player or pro athlete to be allegedly involved in animal fighting. No pro athlete previously involved in animal fighting was ever banned from pro sports. The federal prosecutors won’t tell you but Vick was not fighting dogs by himself. Vick may know plenty of others that attended dogfights and/or bet on fights.

But Vick took all the responsibility himself. He did not even disparage his Judas-like snitch friends.

Yes, Michael Vick pleaded guilty. Let him serve his time and return to work in the NFL.

But no! Dogs have more rights than Black males in America. Devilish organizations will never forget Vick’s dog connections but they easily forgot how racists have used dogs to attack innocent Black people all over the world. Women, children, it didn’t matter to the dog or the racist who was bitten!

Are there no white folks involved in dog fighting? Be serious!

Vick’s situation is not about dead dogs, it is about high profile, high-paid Black men that racists seek to bring down. When Blacks are accused of killing dogs it is murder. When whites kill dogs, the dogs are given “euthanasia”.

As far as gambling goes, there is no sport in the world where gambling is more prevalent than it is in professional football. You can make a bet, legal or illegal, on football in every state and in most countries of the world than have sports betting. Does your office have a football pool?

I wish Vick well but it is obvious that the devil was out to get him and him alone. You tell me, how many other folks will go to jail if they are only accused of criminal acts by crack heads, drug dealers and jailhouse snitches?

Oh yeah, klansmen in the media love to say Vick gave fans an obscene gesture but to show you how racist media people are, no news organization ever includes in the gesture comments that racists attending Atlanta Falcon football games repeatedly called Vick and other Black team members “niggers” and provoked Vick to do what he did!

I’m sure you can imagine I was a huge Atlanta sports team fan. Not any more! If red necks in Atlanta love dogs more than they love Michael Vick, how much love do you think they have for you or me?

As an Associated Press writer I had to write news stories about William Calley. William Calley was implicated in Vietnam War atrocities. My coworkers at AP described Calley in their stories as “Vietnam War hero William Calley” but I wrote my story and called him “My Lai Massacre participant Lt. William Calley” who was right? Perhaps we both were but at least the Associated Press was not afraid to publish different perspectives about the same event.

Don’t worry about Michael Vick, Barack Obama can’t go to sleep and dream how racist America is and how many people hate for Blacks to be successful and will do whatever to bring them down.

Sorry to say but white media reporters Tom and Jemima are at the top of the Black hater list!







The Gantt Report

I purposely delayed writing about the “Jena Six”, the Black students that are being prosecuted for attempted murder in relationship to a schoolyard fight in Louisiana.

If you didn’t know, or your local media refused to report on it, racial tensions exploded in the small town after white students got angry about Black students that congregated beneath a tree where white kids normally hung out.

After the Black students came to school and saw hangman’s ropes gracing the tree, several fights erupted between Blacks and whites. Six Black students there have been charged with “attempted murder”.

The Black owned media companies in America have been instrumental in exposing the modern day Jim Crow activities in Jena. Activist white organizations have also called attention to what is going on.

I delayed a column on this subject because I wanted other Black columnists to step up and many have. Whenever I say there are modern day racists, modern day white supremacists and modern day white segregationists, people think I’m crazy.

But the truth of the matter is that Black people are treated in every city the same way that Black people are treated in Jena, Louisiana!

Right now, there are calls for petitions to be signed. There are calls for defense contributions to be made and there are calls for writers, reporters and journalists to expose what is going on in Jena.

Don’t take my word for it but believe this, one day poor and oppressed people of all colors will rise up against misconduct, mistreatment and societal misdeeds.

If the Jena Six are not given fair treatment in the Louisiana judicial system, the bayou may go up in flames. In fact, the whole nation may get a blaze!

The courts have always been our last resort. Whenever we are mistreated, we’re told to go to court. When we can’t get justice at the courthouse where can we turn? I think poor people will turn to the streets!

You can continue to think I’m crazy and you can continue to put your faith in the major media’s Fiddlers and Chicken Georges.

One thing is for sure. When America has no other country to colonize, no other country to steal resources from and no other countries that will recognize and accept America’s political puppets, America will eat it’s own!

Do what you can to support he Jena Six and all other people of color fighting for their rights and your rights.
