(Miami) – With much success in its first destination – Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Sensationnel Hair – “The Hair You Love to Wear” presents Sensationnel Hair Idol 2007 is lands in Atlanta. An array of women will showcase their winning looks when this spectacular tour continues in the “A” on September 30th with a packed schedule of competitions, entertainment and public service events.

Produced by Glynn Jackson, the founder of the largest hair show in the country, The Golden Scissors Awards and sponsored by one of the most recognized hair product lines in the nation; this two-day event promises to dazzle the city with beauty makeovers, photo shoot competitions, and the recognition of inspiring local stylists and salons.

Undoubtedly, Atlanta will experience what the Washington Post in 2005 aptly reported: “Ain’t no party like a Glynn Jackson party.”

“This is about the woman who is on point in every way,” says Jackson, who has staged fashion and beauty pageants across the country for the past 25 years. He continues, “Her shoes, hair, make-up and walk send a message that ‘I’m proud, confident and I’m a “Sensationnel” woman.’

However, Jackson acknowledges that not all women have this confidence. “Some women are “Sensationnel” and don’t know it. At the end of the day, our goal is to boost their self-esteem,” Jackson said.

According to Jackson, this boost of morale is appropriate in the aftermath of radio shock jock Don Imus’s infamous “nappy headed hos” comment that saturated airwaves recently. While Imus drew attention to negative perspectives of black culture, Jackson insists there is a fountain of beauty and accomplishments waiting to be honored.

The festivities include:
