Here's an article on Sen. Hillary Clinton that is very revealing. The commentary is by Dick Morris, a former advisor to President Clinton. He not only delves into Sen. Clinton's personality, he talks about the fact that the Clintons refuse to release their tax returns. Also, something Newsweek chronicled a few weeks back - President Clinton's business partnership with the Sheik of Dubai and his other business ventures. The real Hillary Clinton stood up at the Democratic presidential debate this week: angry, sarcastic, stubborn, secretive, arrogant, mired in the past, victim of the media, and still firmly convinced that she is uniquely entitled to the Democratic Party nomination and the presidency.

Could it be that there is an expectation that African Americans would be ashamed about being Black and/or ashamed of being Christian? How is it that conservative (and even liberal) media can talk at length about John McCain’s service in the 1960’s and just ignore the Black experience in that turbulent era? The Civil Rights generation is shocked to find that White America is actually willing and able to evaluate a Black candidate based upon his policies. Many of us still can’t believe it.
